Measures

Syncera aims to strengthen its due diligence procedure and platform reliability by adding several types of security measures and a refund policy.

Protecting Investor Confidence

Retail investors tend to view IDOs that have vested tokens with suspicion compared to those that have fully released tokens. Both types of IDOs have been known to abuse their structures in the past and fail to fulfil their responsibilities as a protocol, leaving investors with very pennies on the dollar value (which is only unlocked months after the IDO).

If anything, this will drive projects to spare no effort to keep building while ensuring the community with trust and loss recovery. You can read more about our insurance policy in the next chapter.

Strengthening Due Diligence

Additionally, it is common to observe that a few parties with significant private capital acquire almost the entire presale supply before the public IDO, leaving nothing for the average investor and putting their investment in jeopardy.

As an organization that supports startups, we recognize the significance of having high-quality communities in order to distribute tokens successfully. Our criteria for determining if a project is ready for an initial decentralized offering (IDO) includes analyzing social and community metrics. However, even if a project doesn't meet all of our requirements, we can still offer valuable resources such as connections, marketing support, and guidance to help them create a growth strategy that suits their specific needs. Marketing is essential in driving eyeballs to projects, which translates to community growth.

Additionally, we evaluate the project's existing social and community metrics during this process. Of course, we will monitor post-launch project activities to ensure marketing is done correctly, and advice will be given where needed.

While we prioritize user protection in our policies, we don't want to compromise on project confidence and benefits during token sales. We strive to strike a balance that benefits both investors and project teams. Over the next few months, we aim to improve our systems as necessary and welcome you to join our community to share your feedback.
